Teenage Tug of War!

Raising a teenager can be tough.   Actually, I'm pretty sure you already know that.  In fact, raising a teenager can have you pulling your hair out for years to come!  It's a wonder that parents have any hair left during the teenage years.  After all, what happened to that sweet kid you loved so much as a child?  Where did they go?  Well, the good news is they're still in there and will hopefully come back in the years ahead.  The bad news is, life can easily develop into a tug of war with your child, where they are extremely confused and believe that you completely misunderstand them.  

Unfortunately, when kids no longer trust their parents to help them make good life choices, they sometimes find that guidance in inappropriate places.  Teenagers are facing a myriad of life changes that can play havoc with their minds and choices.  When you feel that your teenager is struggling or acting out, and you no longer know what to do, help is available.  The goal in my practice is that together we can help make the teenage years a little less stressful for your teenager, and in turn, less stressful for you and your entire family.  Let me help.
